As Time Flies …

Six years ago, we startet getting things in our own hands. After first baby steps releasing (amateurish) font families through the big market distributers, we went independent and launched our own foundry. Right know that feels both like yesterday and an eternity. But what feels absolutely clear: Our love for creating bold, experimental and maybe eben a bit overboard typefaces.

Why BHV Bold?

Also released six years ago, BHV was our sixth typeface (though it was the first foundry year!) and quickly became a defining part of our library style. Creating distinct concepts and systems resulting in unexpected shapes and final results, regardless of thinking too much about it’s practical or commercial potential.
